| Q:
|
Will
it hurt? |
| A:
|
No,
it is a little uncomfortable, and doing the insertion of
the speculum is a little embarrassing, but not painful.
|
| Q:
|
Do
I get up and use the bathroom? |
| A:
|
No.
Once the speculum is inserted and you lay on your back,
you are just to relax, rest, and let the water go into the
colon, circulate, and then when it is released, it will
flow from you into the tubing and down into the sewer.

| Q:
|
Will
I make a mess? |
| A:
|
Maybe,
but its not a big deal. You are covered with a gown, and
laying on a surgical pad that will collect any water or
leakage. If you do get wet, or messy you are cleanable and
so is the rest of the table.

| Q:
|
What
can i do to help during the session? |
| A:
|
You
can best help by not pushing or resisting the process. Just
relax and let it happen. Let me do the work.

| Q:
|
Will
I feel pain? |
| A:
|
If
there is any pain, it will be your own body releasing toxins,
and you could feel little nauseous, or some cramping. Some
people have this feeling during a regular bowel movement
anyway, so it would be the same when you get a cleansing.
But it only last for a short time and it passes.

| Q:
|
Is
it embarrassing? |
| A:
|
Of
course it is. No one wants to have this done to them. I
know i certainly don't. With that in mind, we do all we
can to help you feel comfortable, safe, and at ease.

| Q:
|
Will
I be able to go to work after the session? |
| A:
|
Yes,
it doesn't prevent you from having a normal day. However,
if you are experiencing a healing crisis, then we ask you
to stay after your session for a few minutes until you feel
better.
|
| Q:
|
What
can i do to better prepare for a colonic? |
| A:
|
Drink
3 to 4 glasses of "fresh" (not canned or store
bought) juice. Carrot, apple, wheat grass etc. Drink up
to 1 gallon of water each day. Especially 1st thing in the
morning. Start with 2 glasses the moment you get up. And
2 glasses 4 more time during the day. |
